Cronox opened in 1997, giving Livigno a different place, and a regular meeting place for the young people of the village. It is the highest bowling alley in Europe, a unique venue that is rarely found in small mountain villages.Cronox is spread over four floors, almost all of them underground. This was done in order to maintain the original architecture of a building dating back to the early 20th century and to bring out the beauty of the typical house made entirely of stone and larch wood. This gives importance to Livigno's history and respects the harmony of buildings throughout the village. The building is so well integrated into the landscape context that customers often find it hard to believe that the bowling alley and the games room are inside it.The bowling area is certainly the jewel in the crown of the entire structure, representing a meeting place for young people, who love to challenge each other on our lanes to the sound of Strike, but also suitable for children thanks to the barriers that allow them to play in joy.
Cronox also becomes a restaurant: the menu is tasty and appetising, with a wide choice of pizzas and burgers, but also excellent traditional Valtellina dishes, to be enjoyed in the temple of fun of the god Cronox.
